The Spooky Astrology behind the Racial Fundraising Wars
The last time this astrological event happened was the U.S. Civil War.
I live in America. I am scared of the near-future and the violence we may see soon. I typically don’t like to write about current events, but the astrological connection I noticed with this one is too significant for me not to share.
I don’t want to make this article too long, so I will very briefly list the main details of the stabbing of Austin Metcalf and the incident with Shiloh Hendrix. Anyone who is reading this has probably been following these events and knows all about it already anyway.
In brief, the main point I wish to make is this:
This is only the beginning of a 14-year-long paradigm shift.
When I first heard about the stabbing of Austin Metcalf, I immediately felt something deep within my heart tell me: “This isn’t just a fleeting news story, this is going to be a HUGE plot point in a larger narrative.”
Something about it felt like it was orchestrated by higher spiritual powers far beyond our comprehension. The stabbing was not some man-made conspiracy — it’s far too organic. But rather, it feels like demonic archons coordinated this event in order to initiate a mass harvest of people’s attention.
I understand this may sound ridiculous to some.
The truth is: certain events like these are metaphysical lightning rods used to channel psychic energy, serving as conduits for large swaths of people to collectively manifest their unconscious wills. Attention is a psychic force that shifts reality; when large amounts people pay sustained attention to something, it warps the entire world around them.
It is no accident that the stabbing resulted in Karmelo Anthony, who stabbed Austin Metcalf, receiving over $500k from a GoFundMe started for him. Money is a distillation of psychic energy — it is our time and energy which as been converted to societal power. This event served as a focal point for a number of black people in America (and probably a few white liberals) to channel their will and reveal the brewing contents of their unconscious.
The most prevalent narrative from their perspective is something like: “It was self-defense because our black ancestors in this country were abused by white people — we have taken their abuse for too long.”

It is also no accident that less than a month later, another viral event occurred. Shiloh Hendrix, a white woman who was at the park with her child, called a 5 year old black child the N-word after the child allegedly started going through her own child’s backpack. A black Somali man (who is allegedly a child sex offender) filmed her to try and expose her, but she unapologetically kept saying the N-word in an act of defiance. The “woke mob” doxxed her and tried to ruin her life for it. But just like how the Karmelo Anthony incident served as a psychic conduit for black Americans, this event served as conduit for many white Americans.
The narrative I have been seeing is something like: “We are tired of being treated like 2nd class citizens in our own country. Enough is enough, no more white guilt.”
Everyone, and I mean everyone, who follows the news has lumped these two completely separate events together as if they were part of a singular story. But stop and think about it: from a materialistic perspective these events are completely isolated from each other and unrelated.
But from a metaphysical perspective, these events served as the perfect symbols to act as channels to the psychic realm — gateways from which the contents of our nation’s collective unconscious are able to pour through. These symbols are now acting as plot points in the dreamlike narrative which plays out in the background of everyone’s minds.
These two symbolic moments were already part of a singular story within the collective unconscious. The physical events transpiring are acting as the perfect microcosms for the masses to project the story onto.
Therefore, these two unrelated events are now one story. The money raised for Shiloh is a direct response to the money raised for Karmelo. There is a blatant competition now to see who can raise more money, as if it were some sort of racial cold war.
I believe it is no coincidence that all of these events are transpiring at the beginning of a major astrological shift which just happened:
Neptune has entered Aries.
This happened on March 30th 2025.
When did the stabbing of Austin Metcalf happen? It happened on April 2nd 2025.
Only a mere 3 days after this Neptunian transit began.
This might sound like gibberish to those who are unfamiliar with astrology.
Neptune is one of the three outer planets (Uranus and Pluto being the others). The transits of the outer planets around the Sun correlate to long-term archetypal themes which take place on a civilizational level.
To put it in perspective: it takes Neptune about 165 years to complete its cycle around the Sun. The planet stays in each zodiac sign for about 14 years. This is not something that happens every day, month or year; it only happens every 7 or 8 generations.
Whenever Neptune changes signs, it’s a big deal that is worth paying attention to.
So what does the planet Neptune represent? A quick Google search will pull up the following list of associations:
Spirituality and mysticism
Dissolution of boundaries
Imagination, dreams, and creativity
Fantasy, delusion, and escapism
The name of the planet itself can help quickly capture an idea of what this planet rules. Neptune is the Greek god of the ocean. The ocean is a formless abyss in which all sorts of mysterious creatures lurk, some beautiful and some terrifying.
The proverbial ocean that this planet rules over is the ocean of the collective unconscious.
In my two years of intense astrological research, I have come to the conclusion that the planet Neptune reflects the collective narratives that bind individuals together on a societal level.
While the stories that we tell ourselves about reality might seem very real to us, we must remember that ultimately they are still products of the imagination. We often project our inner narratives onto the outer world in order to navigate it safely. Sometimes our imagined narratives accurately reflect reality and other times we are delusional, which is why the planet Neptune symbolizes both imagination and delusion.
Neptunian forces dissolve boundaries and lead to abyssal oneness — a strong narrative is a force which erodes the boundaries between numerous individuals. It is the force that binds individuals together into a single collective voice which says: “We are all in this together.”
A shared narrative is something that melts everyone’s attention together into a singular reality. As I said earlier attention shapes reality. Neptune brings all of the droplets of individual attention into a tidal wave which can carve through the landscape of reality.
I spoke briefly in a previous article about Pisces, the sign which Neptune just exited. Like Neptune, the sign of Pisces represents a nebulous dissolution of boundaries — meaning Neptune feels right at home here.
During Neptune in Pisces, everyone questioned the existing narratives that were dissolving right before their eyes. Many people began to explore new narratives to live by, either religiously or politically. Neptune in Pisces brought about the popularity of modern New Age spirituality, yet also began attracting people to traditional religions. The boundaries of belief were redrawn.
But now that exploration phase is over. Neptune in Aries symbolizes people digging their heels in and fighting for the newfound worldviews that they have adopted.
So what does the sign of Aries represent? Aries the Ram is a fire sign ruled by the planet Mars. It is associated with the following:
Competition and battle
Taking action
Explosive outbursts of energy
Impulsiveness
War
In short, Aries can simply be thought of as “will to power.” Aries is opposite to the sign of Libra, which is represented by a set of balancing scales. Libra wants to make sure everyone’s will is taken into account and everything shakes out fairly, Aries is all about manifesting its own will and overcoming any obstacles that gets in its way. This is why Aries is associated with war and represents a tribal “us versus them” mentality.
Sound familiar? In summary, Neptune entering Aries symbolizes a shift in the collective unconscious towards tribalism and fighting ‘the other’. We can expect to see more conflicts between groups of people based on mutually exclusive worldviews. If we take a look back at the last time Neptune was in Aries, we will find plenty of examples.
The U.S. Civil War and Reconstruction Era
The last time Neptune was in Aries was from 1861 to 1875. Keep that date range in mind.
The U.S. Civil War officially began on April 12th 1861 and ended in 1865.
Do I really have to spell out the symbolism of Neptune in Aries here?
This was the most tribalistic and bloody period in U.S. history. For example, the Battle of Antietam was the single bloodiest day in American history, a 12-hour bloodbath committed between two groups of Americans that resulted in over 22,000 casualties, including over 3,600 dead.
Slavery of black Americans was a central reason for this war. So far, racial tribalism is a theme for our modern Neptunian Aries transit.
But the battles over race didn’t end with the Civil War, they continued into the post-war Reconstruction period. This period of reconstruction ended around 1877, only two years after the end of the Neptunian Aries transit.
The major changes that were battled over in congress are policies that everyone knows about:
13th Amendment (1865): Abolished slavery throughout the United States.
14th Amendment (1868): Granted citizenship to all persons born or naturalized in the U.S., including former slaves, and provided equal protection under the laws.
15th Amendment (1870): Prohibited federal and state governments from denying a citizen the right to vote based on race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
Civil Rights Act of 1875: Guaranteed African Americans equal treatment in public accommodations and public transportation.
Even after these policies were passed by the federal government, the former Confederate states still imposed poll taxes and literacy tests and engaged in terrorism to intimidate blacks and to prevent them from voting. This was a battle the whole time, with or without guns.
These monumental changes in U.S. history required bloodshed in order to get them put into action. These moments in history are echoing into the present moment, where racial tensions have once again come to a boiling point.
Need I also mention that the first order of the KKK was established in 1865 to 1872, right in the middle of this transit?
Most people don’t know this, but the first KKK didn’t just lynch black people. A large number of the Klan’s victims were white republicans who were running the newly installed governments of the southern states. The Eutaw Massacre of 1870 is a clear example that the Klan wasn’t just a white supremacist organization, they were also a paramilitary vigilante group that used violence achieve political goals.
Sound familiar? We’ve been seeing a lot those these days, expect to see more.
President Andrew Johnson was impeached by the House yet acquitted by the Senate in 1868. Numerous government post-war agencies were exposed for corruption during this time. I could go on and on about the high levels of combativeness during this time period, but I think the point here speaks for itself.
Conclusion
I could highlight many more things in recent news that would further drive home my point (I’m sure many of you have heard Kanye West’s recent song about his newfound admiration for Hitler).
But I wished to keep this article brief so I could quickly get it out. Start looking at the news through this astrological lens and you will start to notice more plot points.
I am not stating my opinions on any of these matters. I am merely presenting the facts and pointing out the thematic themes correlating Neptune’s cycle.
So much has already happened in just a single month, yet we still have 14 years left of this deadly planetary transit. Things have potential to look real ugly for the next decade. But I don’t like to make predictions based on astrology; anything could happen and I don’t believe in fate. We have free will to prevent things from worsening.
The most important thing I want to say is this: don’t get swept away by any Neptunian currents of delusion. The algorithms on social media are designed to keep you scared and angry, because all it wants is your attention. As I said earlier, attention itself is the psychic energy that warps the world around it. Both of these stories have been lightning rods for attention, thus opening the doors for Neptunian fantasies of violence to emerge from collective unconscious.
Instead of focusing on whatever you see in the news, pay attention to the living and breathing individuals right in front of you every day as opposed to whatever large-scale narrative is being spun in your head.
I’m not dismissing or handwaving any of the realities surrounding racial issues in the West. I know that the answer is not as simple as “just don’t pay attention and it’ll go away, bro.” Race relations are incredibly strained and action needs to be taken to ease them. What that solution looks like, I don’t know.
What I do know is that as Christians, our minds must not be possessed by these issues. Demons do not care what you pay attention to — as long as you aren’t paying attention to God. Our attention must not be too focused on worldly affairs, but rather we should constantly keep our minds on Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven. Only then will we have a chance of fighting against the spiritual tides we face.
“Let listening to worldly news be bitter food for you, and let the words of saintly men be as combs filled with honey.”
- St. Basil the Great -
We are all descendants of our primordial father Adam. The devil wants nothing more than for mankind to kill each other. Defend your families against violence by all means, but don’t go seeking to spill blood.
Always remember what our Savior said: “He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.”
Genuinely curious.. how do you reconcile astrological study with Orthodoxy? Does your priest have anything to say about this? I know there are certain books on confession that list consulting the stars as a sin that needs to be repented of. I ask because I was into astrology before my conversion, and feel sometimes its a shame I had to leave it behind, because it can point to things that are otherwise hard to see, but undoubtedly has led many spiritual seekers astray, as is so evident to see in new age circles. So I don't ask these questions in an antagonistic way, but as someone who's sincerely curious.
While I am largely unfamiliar with astrology, I see the same signs. These events are lightning rods in the culture wars.
